The Turning Points in History CD-ROM has had wide success in classrooms since its release in late 2004, and, according to the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation, teachers have been clamouring for an Afrikaans version of the teaching resources.

We've now completed the Afrikaans discs. Unlike the English CDs, which were distributed as a standalone, the Afrikaans discs will be inserted into the book series and distributed together. The completed discs were delivered to the printers today for assembly, so they should be available soon.

It was great to do an Afrikaans project - other of our applications are available in Russian, French, Spanish, Thai and Czech, but this is our first South African language other than English! Feels a bit closer to home.
